Overview
The Cupra Born has been given its first major overhaul since launch, bringing a longer range, revised interior and fresh styling.
A three model line-up will be offered, kicking off with a new entry-level variant. It uses a 58kWh battery and a 190PS motor, giving a range of 279 miles.
The mid-range version has a 79kWh battery and a 231PS motor. It has a range of up to 372 miles – an improvement of 26 miles when compared to its predecessor.
At the top of the range sits the performance focussed VZ, which utilises a 326PS motor. It also has a 79kWh battery and offers the same 372 miles of range.
Charging speeds have been boosted for the larger battery, now peaking at 185kW.
The Born’s exterior has been refreshed to better align its appearance with the latest Cupra models. The lighting signature is more distinctive and the car has sharper looks to match its sporty nature.
On the inside, Cupra has improved perceived quality to give the car a more upmarket look and feel. There’s a larger instrument cluster display and a repositioned gear selector. The steering wheel also now features proper buttons, rather than touch sensitive pads.
On-board safety tech has been enhanced with new Crossroad Assist, upgraded Front Assist with multi‑stage warnings, and pre-crash with rear detection. The brand’s latest Travel Assist, semi-autonomous driving system, is also fitted.

Price(s) quoted based on a 48 month agreement with an example deposit of £499.00 on delivery of the car. More deposit than the examples given may be given and this will reduce the monthly rental. Price(s) based on 10,000 miles per annum. The first payment of the agreement commences by direct debit one month from the date of delivery. All figures include VAT at the current rate and one year's road tax. A small balloon payment/admin charge may be applicable with the last payment and a written quotation illustrating these charges is available on request. Full detailed quotations on any model are available if required by request. Quotations for all other derivatives available of each make and model are available by request. Once an order has been placed and finance approved by the banks, the interest rate agreed on that date will be honoured for 3 months. If after this date the car has not arrived from the manufacturer the finance agreement lapses and a new quotation with the current rate of interest at that time will be provided.
