THE NEW KIA STONIC
We are delighted to confirm details of the All-New Stonic, initially available in ‘2’ and ‘First Edition’ grades.
The All-New Kia Stonic is an eye-catching and confident compact Crossover which is set to become an
important conquest model for Kia in Europe’s newest and fastest-growing B-SUV vehicle segment.
The All-New Kia Stonic will be immediately recognisable as a Kia thanks to key signature design elements,
such as the ‘tiger-nose’ grille and distinctive “C pillar” styling.
A range of petrol and diesel engines are available, all paired with a manual transmission and ISG (Intelligent
Stop & Go function), maximising driver engagement and efficiency. Buyers will have the choice of 1.0 litre TGDI
(turbocharged gasoline direct injection) engine with 118bhp, 1.4 litre naturally-aspirated MPI (multi-point
injection) with 98bhp, with a 1.6 litre 108bhp diesel engine completing the range and offering the lowest
emissions in the line-up.
The All-New Stonic will have class leading infotainment technology. A 7” colour touchscreen with DAB radio
and Bluetooth with voice recognition will be standard on both grades. Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ will
also be standard allowing for key smartphone apps (such as Maps™ or Google Maps™), calls and text to be
managed via the touchscreen infotainment or the voice recognition system.
The All-New Stonic will offer advanced active safety features on selected versions including: Autonomous
Emergency Braking (AEB) with pedestrian recognition and Forward Collision Alert, Blind Spot Detection (BSD)
with Rear Cross Traffic Alert; and Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) with High Beam Assist (HBA) and
Driver Attention Warning (DAW).
Exterior styling
The thick C-pillar kicks all the way up to, and wraps around, the roof panel to provide a unique Crossover
image. The distinct design of the standard roof rails adds to the overall sense of dynamism.
